We just got back from sunny and warm Califorinia earlier this week. We had a great time. The airport was a little hairy with three kids, three car seats, and three suitcases, but we made it. The weather was great. We hit Disneyland, the beach a couple of days, the zoo, and the LaBrea tarpits. The kids were great and things went smoother than I thought they would. Abby had a magical time meeting 5 princesses and some disney characters. She wants a princess birthday party now. She keeps talking about Pochahauntas, but I think Ariel is still her favorite. Stockton liked Disneyland, but got a little nervous on some of the rides. His favorite was the beach. He loved playing in the sand and letting the waves chase him on the shore. I think we were all surprised by how chilly the water and sea breeze were. But of course that didn't stop them from getting all wet.

Andy had meetings for two of the days, so my brother-in-law loaded up me and the kids and we saw the LA Zoo and the La Brea tarpits. Both were pretty cool and Jarad should get a medal of honor for being confined with three loud and crying kids for two days. Will there be children in the Coates' future? Only if Jared has a memory lapse! No really, he said it wasn't that bad.
