We have had a real rollercoaster of weather. We have enjoyed a few nice sunny days and a few really windy days where a storm blows in and then it snows. Today was one of those windy days. But Stockton being the resourceful kid that he is, who will play out in the sandbox if at all possible thought of a solution. He went and got the toy goggles from his tool box and used them to keep the blowing sand out of his eyes. Luckily there are two pairs in the tool box because everything he does, Abby does.

These are Stockton's plans for his bug house. As we have been getting ready for summer he thought of an idea. He made a plan that if we made a nice house for the bugs, that they would stay there and leave us alone. He has a window and door planned and thinks he might put up signs that say "grasshoppers, come in here!" We thought it was so cute and told him to draw up some plans. This is what he came up with.

The kids have been so excited since we put the tramp back up. Andy made our tramp into a mini-tramp to save my sanity. It has been great. Abby has been bounced off a couple of times (once on her head and scared me to death.) But she hasn't gotten hurt since there's not too far to fall. It is great because she can get off and on by herself. It is only about a foot off the ground, but since the kids don't weigh much it works for us. And all the other neighborhood kids love it too. Even the ones with their own regular tramps. They are jumping with our next door neighbor girl. She is the same age as our abby and her name is abby too. It is already confusing when they are all outside and someone yells "abby".

We are starting to get ready for T-ball season. Abby won't be able to play for a few years, but will be already when the time comes. She wants to do everything Stockton does, so she gets a turn to bat and field too.

Stockton has been doing pretty good with the Tee. There have been a few nice nights when they could practice. Andy is the coach. We'll keep you posted on how the games go.

Love the goggles, what a problem solver!
I love the mini tramp too! I would try that but our mat is around 9 years old and that baby would touch the ground. But what a good idea. We could still manage to break a bone though I think!
