Thanksgiving point has had a dino museum for a few years now and we have never taken the time to go see it. So we decided to take the kids this saturday and go do something fun. They are pretty fast movers when we go to the zoo or places like this, so we really don't get to read or look at things in much detail. But they had a couple of really fun kids sections where we spent a lot of time and a lot of hands on things for the kids to see and do which we really liked.

A lot of the exhibits were pretty dark . It is hard to see, but there are two T-rex skeletons behind them.

Abby loved this little dino statue. He was just right to climb on and get your pictures taken. Abby kept coming back to him and sitting on him. She thought he was way fun. Maybe its because he was about the only one who wasn't just bones!

They had this fun water and sand table. It had little plastic trees and dinosaurs. You could build things with the sand and dig up dinos. Then it had different areas where they would start pumping water to show you how when the dinos are burried in the earth erosion helps uncover them. I seriously doubt Stockton had any idea thats what he was supposed to learn, but he had a great time playing in the sand and water.

The last part of the museum had a fake quarry where they have made casts of dinos and covered them all with sand. It was like a giant indoor sandbox. Stockton was in heaven. He had fun looking for fossils. Abby started out ok, but another little boy started hissing and acting like a mean T-rex and she was too afraid to stay in there. We stayed here for quite a while. I was really impressed at the museum and all the fun things for the kids.

There is a mysterious man in a blue colts shirt lurking behind Petyon! Those are really cute pictures.
We missed ya fishing, but this looks like FUN! I will have to take my kids sometime!
