Rollling Eggs

We roll eggs every year as a Chesnut tradition to pass along to the kids. We are pretty lazy and usually have lots of other family things going on though, so we don't go to the mountains. There are a couple of schools in Payson with pretty steep lawns so we usually roll eggs there. It works out well for us. The kids roll the eggs and see how many times it takes before they break apart. Usually by then there is a flock of seagulls flying around ready to eat our broken eggs.

The school has a playground nearby and the kids love to play on the slides and climbing stuff when we are done. They are both getting much more adventurous with climbing and going up high.

I suppose you are learning how bizarre rolling eggs is to everyone else. So funny! I have great memories of the two of us rolling eggs down those hard clay hills!
Did they try rolling them down the slides? My girls would love that!
