Mom invited us to go to Lagoon this week with her, Bob, and his boys. We all had a fun time and want to say thanks for having us come! We pretty much just stayed with the kiddie rides all day, but the kids had a blast and I didn't mind not getting motion sickness on the big rides.

Abby was pretty adventurous. She is our thrill seeker. The kids rode most of the rides together, but there were a few that each didn't want to ride.

It was really hot when you weren't in the shade. They have this big fountain where the water "dances" to different music. They let people run through it and get as wet as they want. You just have to keep your shoes and shirt on. Stockton had a blast running through the water tunnels. He got just wet enough to keep cool. Abby didn't want anything to do with it.

The bumper cars were by far the biggest hit of the day. They probably rode them 10 times. The lines weren't very long and so they would get out when it was over and run around and get back on. I couldn't get really great pictures since it was a little dim and they were constantly moving. But they were giggling the whole time and Stockton had the biggest and happiest smiles I have seen in a long time. After a while he got good enough he was just driving around trying not to crash into anyone so that he could keep going. Abby mostly just went in circles. She thought it was funny to bump into other people. They both loved being able to drive and be in control of their little cars.

Abby made a little friend waiting in line for the boats. She chose to ride in the pink boat with this little girl instead of the yellow one that Stockton rode in.

This was Peyton's first big trip out into the heat. He wore sunscreen for the first time. He didn't seem to mind too much though, since grandma held him most of the day.

Big smiles having fun on all the kiddie rides!

Grandma Debbie had fun with the kids, especially Peyton. She held him for most of the day. He was really happy to have all the attention. The kids had a great time with Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Bob. Thanks again!

What a fun time. Matt keeps talking about Lagoon and I keep putting him off. Lagoon is so not my idea of fun, at least not with kids anyway. I would like to go with just adults and ride all the big rides until I peed my pants and threw up my lunch. how is that for romantic?
Anyway, Kelsey LOVES that fun water fountain circle too. Where was that when we used to go as kids?!?!?!
